MOBILIZE! – Engaging the Generations
Thursday, January 29 - 12 PM CT (10 AM PT / 1 PM ET)
90-minute online workshop
Presented in collaboration with Missionfest Manitoba and Missionfest BC, this workshop supports exhibitors and ministry teams seeking to engage meaningfully across generations in conference and festival settings.
The session brings together practitioners who regularly work across age groups to explore how generational differences shape conversation, calling, and next steps. Rather than reducing generations to stereotypes, the focus is on recognizing patterns, translating well across differences, and adapting engagement practices in real event environments.
The conversation will include:
How younger and older generations approach faith, calling, and mission conversations differently
The role of bridge generations in helping translate language, expectations, and assumptions
Practical practices exhibitors can use to engage youth, young adults, families, and older adults with clarity and respect
Shared learning drawn from both practitioner experience and participant insight
This is a facilitated, practitioner-oriented conversation rather than a formal presentation, with space for reflection, observation, and shared wisdom from the room.
