MOBILIZE! – Engaging the Generations
Thursday, January 29 - 12 PM CT (10 AM PT / 1 PM ET)
90-minute online workshop
Presented in collaboration with Missionfest Manitoba and Missionfest BC, this workshop helps exhibitors and ministry teams engage meaningfully across generations, with a particular focus on younger audiences. Kayla Smith, a Gen Z leader who directs a national youth movement, will share practical insight into how Gen Z approaches faith, calling, community, and mission-related conversations.
A second contributor will provide broader generational perspectives, giving participants a clearer sense of how different age groups think and respond in event settings. The workshop includes space for shared learning so participants can hear from one another’s experiences and effective practices.
Together these elements equip exhibitors to adapt their presence, messaging, and follow-up approaches to connect more effectively with youth, young adults, families, and older adults.
Speakers:
Kayla Smith, National Director, How To Life Movement
Bosco Tung, National Associate Director, Lausanne Movement Canada
Additional generational specialist to be announced
Who should attend:
