Presented in collaboration with Missionfest Manitoba and Missionfest BC, this workshop supports exhibitors who serve at conferences, festivals, and public mission events.
Drawing on years of experience in mobilization and event leadership, the session explores practical ways exhibitors can strengthen how they engage people at their booths and tables. The focus is on transferable practices that work across contexts, whether participants are first-time exhibitors or seasoned teams.
The conversation will explore:
Welcoming visitors with clarity and warmth
Engaging in meaningful, non-scripted conversations
Communicating purpose without pressure
Discerning appropriate next steps and follow-up
Rather than formal presentations, the session is designed as a facilitated practitioner conversation. Shared learning allows participants to surface practices, tensions, and insights that reflect real exhibitor experience.
Participants will leave with practical approaches they can apply immediately in any event setting.
