Canadian Younger Leaders Fund
Invest in the Next Generation of Canadian and Global Mission Leaders
A discerned Canadian cohort of younger leaders and mentors is entering the next YLGen journey, a ten-year pathway of discipleship, mentorship, collaboration, and mission connected to YLG 4, the Lausanne Movement’s Fourth Younger Leaders Gathering in Brazil.
These leaders have come through a comprehensive nomination, application, and selection process. Your gift helps them participate, prepare, connect with mentors and Lausanne pathways, and carry the fruit of this journey back into the Church in Canada.

A Discerned Cohort Worth Supporting
Canada’s YLG 4 cohort has come through a comprehensive nomination, application, and selection process. These are not simply people signing up for an event. They are younger leaders and mentors being invited into a global Lausanne journey that continues long after Brazil.
They represent churches, ministries, mission agencies, campuses, workplaces, and communities across the country.
Support now helps them enter this journey not as isolated participants, but as a prepared Canadian cohort: prayed for, connected to mentors, strengthened by shared learning, and ready for follow-through after Brazil.
The purpose is not only to sponsor attendance. It is to invest in people, relationships, and practical follow-through that can strengthen gospel collaboration across generations, cultures, regions, and sectors.
“One generation commends your works to another; they tell of your mighty acts.”
The Canadian Younger Leaders Fund has two ways your gift can help. Both are part of one fund stewarded through Lausanne Movement Canada under the Mission Education Fund.
Give to the Canadian Younger Leaders Fund
Support Participants and Scholarships
Help reduce cost barriers for younger leaders and mentors participating in YLG 4.
Gifts toward participant support help with registration-related costs, travel support, scholarships, and participant assistance for Canadian participants. As funds allow, this may also include scholarship solidarity for selected global participants facing higher financial barriers.
Strengthen the Canadian YLGen Pathway
Help build the preparation, mentoring, storytelling, commissioning, and follow-through around YLG 4.
Gifts toward the Canadian YLGen Pathway support cohort gatherings, prayer, communication, mentoring, Bridge Leader engagement, senior leader connection, podcast and webinar resources, a Canadian commissioning moment, and post-YLG follow-through.
Both giving options are part of the Canadian Younger Leaders Fund. Donor preferences are tracked internally, while Lausanne Movement Canada retains complete control and administration over the use of all donated funds.

-
YLG 4 is the Lausanne Movement’s Fourth Younger Leaders Gathering, taking place 16-22 March 2027 in Brazil. It will gather younger Christian leaders from around the world for biblical formation, global relationships, mentoring, and long-term mission engagement.
-
YLGen stands for Younger Leaders Generation. It is the longer journey connected to YLG 4, focused on discipleship, mentorship, collaboration, and mission beyond the gathering itself.
-
Participant support helps leaders get to YLG 4. The Canadian YLGen Pathway helps make sure they are prepared before they go and supported after they return. It funds the communication, mentoring, storytelling, commissioning, and follow-through needed so YLG 4 becomes a launch point rather than an endpoint.

If you were invited by a specific Canadian participant, you may include their name for internal tracking. Gifts remain under the control and administration of Lausanne Movement Canada and are not owned by individual participants.
